Cycle 4: classes of 5 °, 4 ° and 3 °

 

1) Weekly timetable for years 8, 9 and 10.

5 hours of maths and extra workshops to further develop thinking skills(‘playing’ with numbers and logic games).

1 hour of science, 2 hours of ICT and 1.5 hours of physics.

Either 3 hours of history or 3 hours of geography or 3 hours of moral and civic education (one per term),

1 hour of philosophy.

5 hours of French (one hour of which, is etymology (study the history of words) to develop a love of the French language).

8 hours of English (setted by fluency)  this includes 2 hours of sport, 1 hour of art and 1 hour of music.

2.5 hours of Spanish

 

2) Small pupil – teacher ratio:

to develop strong learning attitudes; learning relationships; motivate and inspire our students and ensure success.

 

3) Opportunity to stay at homework club

or in the library with a studious atmosphere while waiting for working parents.

 

Cycle 3: the class of 6 °

Eight hours of English per week.
We follow the official year 7 French curriculum.
Introduction of philosophy to enable students to gain a better understanding of the world.
Enquiry into ancient languages to support French literature and English.
 ICT based learning.
Option of morning and evening ‘wrap around’ childcare for families. (7:30am to 6:30pm)
